Linkinus 1.2.1 has just been released.
It adds message encryption support, improved Leopard integration, better sounds. It also adds /omsg and /onotice support, fixes a couple of CTCP, introduces new tooltips and a new Keyboard preference pane.
Please note that this 1.2.1 version is *not* part of the Linkinus 1.1-only free licenses.
We hope that you will enjoy this new release. As always, comments and suggestions go to the development site!
Is linkinus dead? I just purchased a license, but I’m kind of afraid I get on the horse after it died.
Hi Aaron. Linkinus is alive and well, thank you. I am the creator and only developer of the app, and happen to be having a very busy couple of months! While the development is not as active as it was back in September for example, this is only temporary and future developments have been entirely planned.
In a nutshell, there is nothing to worry about

Then why don’t you at least update this blog and the timeline on dev.linkinus.com site? I mean, I can understand if something takes longer than expected, but I wanna know then.
Even if it’s just one blog post every month, saying “We’re still at it, worry not. We’re estimating the new point release around xyz”
*is a bit grumpy, because e.g. he can’t look at logs because the log viewer crashes Linkinus everytime I select a channel there*
