We’ve been getting a lot of emails lately about “Linkinus not working after installing a mouse driver”.
You may already have guessed it - the mouse driver in question is LCC (Logitech Control Center).
This piece of software has been responsible for breaking a inter-process communication technology built in Mac OS X. It really is Logitech’s responsability to fix their mistake, and not every Mac developer’s to work around it.
So yes, it will indeed break Linkinus. It will also break TextMate, Growl and many others.
I’m going to go ahead and give the same advice the other companies have been giving: uninstall LCC!

I have had many issues with LCC and wiped that from my system a while back. I am not sure why a company like Logitech would release such crappy drivers.
I am not sure either. Linkinus 1.2.2 is compatible with it, though.
